Shannon McCarty is a Practice Director at RJR Partners, specializing in placing Sales Professionals and Sales Leaders for early stage SaaS startups in the Southwest. Shannon is a diversity advocate, with half of her placements being women and people of color. She is also a volunteer mentor for MentorsInTech, offering job search advice and assisting with resume and LinkedIn profile improvement. Additionally, Shannon hosts a popular Tech Networking Happy Hour for Los Angeles Tech talent and has been a guest on the podcasts WeAreLATech and Women in Tech. Prior to her role as a software sales recruiter, Shannon worked in television production for nearly 20 years, producing documentaries and casting unscripted shows for over 60 network, cable, and streaming platforms.

Shannon received a Bachelors degree in Television, Radio & Film from Syracuse University. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
